Let's Talk BreyerFest... Will Call and Updated BreyerFest FAQs, That Is!

Hello and welcome to the next installment of this series. Today, I am going to be going over Will Call a bit since Breyer added a bit more information, but I also wanted to make a statement. Breyer did update their FAQs and I will always recommend reading them and the BreyerFest Blog because without that information, I could not do what I do with these new event types. However, I wanted to just make a note that while they did add the information about Will Call and a bit more about the Special Run Pick ups and the Preference List, the information here in the Guides is still a bit more in depth. I do my best to provide as in depth information as I can and I only hope that I am doing it. So with that being said, let’s talk about Will Call!

Will Call is where you will be able to pick up your International Ticket Books and your All Access Special Run Ticket Books. On Thursday, July 14th, it will be located at the Kentucky Horse Park at the Rolex Gate from 10 AM EDT to 4 PM EDT and then it will be moved to the Clarion Hotel from 5 PM EDT to 9 PM EDT. It will then head back to the Kentucky Horse Park and will very likely open around 8:30 AM EDT as this time has not been announced yet and close around 4 PM EDT and the same hours should be for Saturday and it will likely close earlier on Sunday. There is absolutely no rush to pick up these tickets, if you cannot make it to the Thursday times. They will be available all weekend long.

Within the next few hours, I will be adding detailed maps of the Kentucky Horse Park that list where everything will be during BreyerFest, using what information that Breyer has provided already. You can find two different marked maps in the BreyerFest for Beginners Guide under Kentucky Horse Park Maps for BreyerFest.

Let's Talk BreyerFest...Selling at BreyerFest, That Is!

irst, let me just say that this will be covering more than just the Swap Meet, but the Swap Meet is where I see a lot of misinformation spread, so that is what I am starting with on this installment of Let’s Talk BreyerFest!

This year, the Swap Meet will be held both online and in person. At the in person Swap Meet, there will be two nights of selling and buying fun, starting on Thursday July 14th at 7:30 PM EDT to 11:00 PM EDT and continuing on Friday, July 15th at 7:30 PM EDT to 11:00 PM EDT. There is a table fee that you will need to pay when you send in your application and then you will need to email two photos of what you are selling in order to considered and approved. Tables are sold on a first come/first serve basis and they do sell out very quickly, so please keep that in mind. The fee for one table per night is $50 or $80 for two tables per night and there is a two table limit. Only one seller is permitted per table. The Swap Meet is not open for Breyer Retailers, Customizers, or artists to sell at and you are not permitted to sell current 2022 Breyer Merchandise, including Limited Editions and Special Runs. So what can you sell? That is easy! Any original finish that is not current, whether it is new in box or not, bodies, extra models sitting on your shelves, Breyer made tack, Breyer made accessories, and things of that nature. The safe thing to remember is that as long as it is Original Finish or factory made, then you are ready and able to sell! This is what Breyer has to say about what is acceptable and not acceptable to sell during the Swap Meet: Sellers are not permitted to sell current (2022) Breyer merchandise – this includes Special Runs, Limited Edition models, and Regular Run product. Sellers that are participating in the in person Swap Meet are able to add a virtual event listing to their order for starting at $50. While I always recommend reading the fine print before filling out any application, I felt that this was needed to be said so that there was no issues whatsoever!

The Artisan’s Gallery is the perfect place for those Customizers and Artists though. You must be a VIP or All Access Ticket Holder to sell at the Artisan’s Gallery. Held at the Clarion, just like the Swap Meet, this sales space is all about those Custom Models, Resin models, one of a kind pieces, tack, wagons, and more! The Artisan’s Gallery runs from 5:30 PM EDT to 11:00 PM EDT on Thursday July 14thand 7:30 PM EDT to 11:00 PM EDT on Friday July 15th and Saturday July 16th. If you secure a table by April 1st, you will receive a BreyerFest Guest Wristband for free. The fee for selling at the Artisan’s Gallery is $125 for one table with two chairs and $50 for each additional space/table. Limit of one seller per table, unless approved by Reeves. Here is what Breyer says can be sold at the Artisan’s Gallery: Media may be original sculpture, bronze, wood, resin, clay, acrylic painting, watercolor painting, oil painting, pencil portraiture, custom tack, and customized Breyer models. Subject should be equine related, but may also include other animal subjects as well. To sell in the virtual Artisan’s Gallery, you must be a VIP, All Access, or Online Traditional Ticket Holder and you will need to include your Ticket Order Number with your application. If you are selling in the Artisan’s Gallery in person, you can add a virtual listing for starting at $50.

And last, but certainly not least is the Vendor Marketplace. The in person Vendor Marketplace is one of the greatest things that you will experience during BreyerFest, but the virtual Marketplace is certainly not to be missed either! Selling at the In Person Marketplace is a great place for Retailers and those that want to sell large collections. I very highly recommend reading through the whole application before submitting it. It does cost around $650 for an interior booth and $550 for an exterior booth (new this year). Here is what Breyer has to say about what you can sell and what you cannot sell at the Vendor Marketplace: BreyerFest is held to promote and educate the public about Breyer models and the hobby of collecting, showing, and customizing them. Therefore, vendors may not display, offer for sale, promote, or sell any model horse products that are not genuine Breyer, with the following exceptions: china, resin, or discontinued and retired models. Vendors may offer for sale equine-related products for the horse and rider, jewelry, clothing, and gift items for the home. Any promotional activity, signing, guest speaker, etc. must be pre-approved in writing by Reeves International, Inc.- This is copied directly from them. That was what was provided for the in person Vendor Marketplace application. This is what is provided with the virtual Vendor Marketplace application: Participants are welcome to sell jewelry, art, books, apparel, accessories, house wares, bath products, tack (for model horses or real horses), toys, or older or retired Breyer product. Products are not required to be equine-themed. Apparel and accessories are not permitted to be Breyer- or BreyerFest-branded. Sellers are not permitted to sell current year Breyer models or Special Run/Limited Edition models. All applicants are required to submit at least two photos of the items they will be selling.  Make sure to check out the links on the Breyer website.

Let's Talk BreyerFest...Ticket Order Number, That Is!

Hello and welcome to the next section of Let's Talk BreyerFest! This time, we are going to be talking about something a bit different. It is the Ticket Order Numbers and where they are located and how you can find them for your Pick Up Person during BreyerFest. You might even need them for other things during BreyerFest, so please do not brush off this post because you are not using a Pick Up Person.

Each year, I make a new version of this post because it is really that important and it is a question that is asked every year. So I am adding it to the Guides this time rather than just having it as a post so it can be referred back to year and year.

So where do you find your Ticket Order Number and your account information for that matter? You will find it all on your Account Details page on Breyer's website. You will notice in the photo that I have only sectioned off part of my page on Breyer's website and this is because this page will show you the address that you have listed as default and more information that might be sensitive. The Ticket Order Number is circled in red in the photo below and this is what your pick up person will need. I still highly recommend printing out your receipt or just this page to send to your Pick Up Person so that there is absolutely no confusion when it comes time for the event.

To reach this page: You need to go to the Breyer website and log in. Once you have logged in, it will take you directly to your Account Details page. From there, you only need to scroll down. The numbers are in order of your last purchases so if your BreyerFest Tickets were the last thing that you purchased, they would be on top like in my photo. You can also check the prices to make sure that this is the correct number as well. Once you are there, click on the number and it will open up all of the details of that purchase. The information about the order, the price, the address, and more. I did not include that photo as once again it does have some personal information on it and as open as I normally am, I do not want my address out there quite yet.

Let's Talk BreyerFest...Special Run Preference List, Evening Performance, and FINE PRINT, That Is!

 Special Run Preference List

Hello and welcome back to another installment of Let’s Talk BreyerFest. I know, I took a few days off from this and left some things hanging and I am sorry for that. But let’s get right into this one!

BreyerFest in person tickets went on sale Wednesday, February 23rd at Noon EST. They released the VIP, the All Access, and the General Access tickets at the same time and there was no rush. In fact, VIP Tickets are still hanging around. We do not know and have not been told how many VIP or All Access Tickets will be available other than they are all limited in quantity. Everything BreyerFest is limited in quantity, so I am taking that statement as a grain of salt at this time. Tickets will remain on sale until 5 PM EDT on May 2nd.

But what happens once tickets are no longer on sale? A lot actually! That is when you will start hearing the whispers of the Special Run Preference List. As a Roadie, you will definitely have a firm grasp on this hard to explain, but easy to actually experience list, I hope. In May, some time after the ticket sales have ended, those that purchased an All Access (or many All Access Tickets) will receive an email with a link in it. If you do not receive emails from Breyer, do not worry! That link will definitely be shared here in the group. This link will take you to a page on the Breyer website that is dedicated to the Special Run Preference List. If you do not want to wait for me to post a link or receive the email from Breyer, it will be under the Events Tab under BreyerFest Community (I believe). But what are the details about this list?

The Special Run Preference List is just a way to let Breyer know how you like the Special Runs that are offered for this year’s event. Think of it more like a ranking list rather than a preference list. You do not need to purchase the models that end up being selected for you, however they make amazing sale or trade fodder for something that you want instead. This list is not a list for their inventory and this list does not guarantee that you will be getting those models in that order. It is just a ranking list.

Ok, let’s get into the details of that list! In 2021, they offered the list in two different ways. While Breyer did state that they were keeping the same system, I am not going to assume that they will be running it the same until the actually announce that. However, I will be sharing both of the ways that you were able to fill out your preference list.

First, know that if you do not fill out the list, your Special Runs will be selected at random for you. You do not need to purchase these models. You will be paying for your Special Runs before BreyerFest. You should have around two weeks to fill out this List and I will post daily reminders. Yes, you can have pick ups with this BreyerFest. Your pick up person will need your order number in order to pick up your Ticket Book from Will Call. Your Special Runs will not be sent to you, someone needs to pick them up in person, either you or your pick up person. Ok, onto the specifics.

The Master List

The first type of Special Run Preference List that you can use is the Master List. If you have more than one ticket and you want to limit how many duplicates that you might receive, this is the list for you. You will be filling out one list for all of the tickets that you have listed on your account. The best way to fill out this list is to put the Special Run that you want the most at the top and rank them down to the one that you like least. No one can tell you how to fill out this list, there is no way to make it better, this is all up to you! You got this! The Master List is a way to manage all of your All Access Tickets with one list and is the way to get the least amount of duplicates. There will be multiple number ones (as many as tickets on your account) and so on. Just rank the models how you like them the best. That is all there is to it! You have until the day that it is due to edit it and Breyer will normally take the last one submitted (this was last year’s information).

The Individual List

The second type of Special Run Preference List is the one that I have used both times that it was offered. It is the Individual List. While this list does have a high rate of duplicates, it allows you to customize your rankings per ticket on your account. So with each ticket, you will be making a new list. If you have just one ticket on your account, this will be the best option for you to use. If you do not mind duplicates or you want to attempt to control Lady Fate, then this list is best for you. Again, no one call tell you how to rank the Special Runs other than yourself. There is no secret to getting what you want as Breyer has never revealed their algorithm of how the Special Runs are selected for your account. With this option, if you have more than one ticket, you will be filling out more than one list. You can set different Special Runs as number one and so on, but just know that you might get duplicates.

So that is all that there is to the Special Run Preference List! Once you submit your list to Breyer, you then just need to wait. And wait. And wait. Breyer will then notify you that your selections are ready to purchase and you will log into your Breyer account, go to the page that they have set aside for purchasing these models, add them to your cart, buy them, and then you will need to pick up your ticket books from Will Call at BreyerFest starting on July 14thand running all weekend long.

Now, I know that you are going to ask, but Rachel, how will Pick Ups work? Ah, don’t worry, I got you! This will go for both VIP and All Access since this will be a popular question this year.

Pick Ups With The Ticket Books

For those that got the VIP Ticket and are having a pick up person get their models for them: Yours is likely the easiest to go over. If you have the ticket already purchased and you have an awesome hobby member that is picking up your models for you, all that you will need to do is send them your Ticket Book. That is all. Your ticket book will include your redemption tickets for your Celebration Horse, your full set of Event Stablemates, your VIP Swag Box, your already paid for Limited Editions, and your Special Runs. If you are an international VIP Ticket Holder, then your pick up person will need to head to Will Call at the Kentucky Horse Park starting on Thursday July 14th and running all weekend long to pick up your Ticket Book. Your pick up person will need your order number, your full name, and information of that sort. My advice (which can be ignored) is to print out the receipt where you paid for your VIP Ticket and send it to them with your Ticket Book, if you are a US resident, or send them an email to print out with your receipt in it and the other information to pick up your Ticket Book from Will Call.

For those that got the All Access Tickets and are having a pick up person get their models for them: This one might be a bit more confusing, but that is perfectly fine because I will explain it as best as I can! With the All Access Ticket, you will get two Ticket Books. One will contain the redemption ticket for the Celebration Horse and the other one is one that you will need to pick up from Will Call. Ok, being completely honest, in both the VIP and the All Access Ticket Books, you will get more than just the Redemption Tickets. You will get the admission wrist band, the parking pass (if purchased with an All Access Ticket), your Celebration of Horses Evening Performance ticket, and stuff like that. If you are a US resident, then the first Ticket Book with the wrist band and the Celebration Horse things will be sent to you. After you fill out, turn in, and pay for your Special Runs, you will then need to pick up your Second Ticket Book from Will Call at the Kentucky Horse Park starting on July 14th. Will Call will run all weekend long so there is absolutely no rush and no worries if you cannot make it on Thursday! If someone is picking up your Ticket Book and models for you, I highly recommend printing out your receipts (both for the All Access Ticket and the Special Runs because you can never be too prepared) and sending them with your Celebration Horse Redemption Ticket to your pick up person.

Evening Performance

Hello and welcome to this segment of Let’s Talk BreyerFest. This time, I am going to be explaining why Breyer asked you to choose Friday or Saturday evening for a performance.

If you have never been to BreyerFest or you have only been to the virtual events, then you might not know about the awesome thing that happens on Friday and Saturday evenings during BreyerFest. This is when the Celebration of Horses Evening Performance happens and it is something that I will always recommend watching.

The evening performances were a thing when I first went to BreyerFest in 2012. That year, it was a concert and the year after that, it was also a concert as well. However, in 2014, something amazing happened during this evening event. It became a true celebration of the horse and featured riders and equestrians from all over the world.

For the last few years, it has been produced and choreographed by Silvia Zerbini and I cannot recommend her enough, if you love just watching the beauty of the horse and like stories told through music and dance. But, if that does not scream to you yet, let me tell you that this takes place at the Altech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park. This arena is air conditioned and has some decent snack places.

This year, all in person tickets come with the Celebration of Horses Evening Performance and it is typically the same for Friday and Saturday, however these are real horses and real people so little things can change and things happen that go off script. Will it be offered to the virtual tickets? We do not know yet, but as soon as those virtual tickets go on sale in March, I will be checking this for you!

That is pretty much all that there is to the Celebration of Horses Evening Performance. It is just an amazing show in an air conditioned arena. I will always recommend, but then again I would recommend getting licked by a horse, so I might just recommend horse things some days!

Fine Print from Breyer

I want to take a moment to remind you that you will definitely need to read the fine print of the tickets again this year.  While the actual details of the Contests for BreyerFest are not known at this time, there is a blurb on the VIP and All Access Tickets that say that in person contests are limited to US Residents only and that residents of AZ, CO, MD, NE, ND, and VT are not able to participate again this year.

Please keep in mind that this is just a blurb and that this could change as we have seen Breyer change things recently.  Information regarding the Contests will be released some time in March, along with information about all the other Ticket-Add Ons.

This year, I also recommend reading the Liability statement as it has changed from recent years.  I normally do not add these types of posts to this group. but I am certain that we are all aware of how times have changed and while they will not be discussed here in this group as I strive to keep it positive, I do feel that it should be at least noticed. Here is the link for the Liability statement: https://www.breyerhorses.com/pages/liability-statement

Hang in there, Roadies, as we wait for more information to be released about this Hybrid event.  I am sure that it will work out and be an amazing event, I just tend to read the fine print and try to let everyone know that it is there and be aware of it all.  Comments are turned off in an effort to keep everything positive, but if you have questions about the Contests, I highly recommend waiting until the information is released and then perhaps sending a polite email to Breyer.

Let's Talk BreyerFest...Pick Ups, Model Locations, Full Set of Event Stablemates, That Is!

 Pick Ups

Hello Roadies! So while I do not allow pick up requests or offers here in the group, there are so many people that are interested in them. I have hinted at how they will work in the last three posts, but there is nothing like a direct post. I hope that this will help you!

Ticket Sales end on May 2nd at 5 PM EDT and the Preference List for All Access Ticket Holders will go out some time after that. You should have two weeks to fill out that list. You will be paying for your Special Runs before the event in July.

So, the VIP Ticket will allow for pick ups, if you are unable to actually get to the event in person. The person that is doing your pick ups for you will need you to mail the Ticket Book that comes with your VIP ticket to them. I highly suggest not changing the address and having it directly sent to them due to other issues that we have seen when this happens, especially if you are wanting to purchase the Online Only Limited Editions. International VIP Ticket Holders will need to have their Ticket Book picked up at Will Call, starting on Thursday July 14th. Your pick up person will need all of your account information, like your ticket order number, your full name, etc. See Guide about where to find your Ticket Order Number.

All Ticket Holders will be able to purchase the Limited Editions on the Breyer website during BreyerFest weekend.

You can also do Pick Ups with the All Access Ticket. This ticket does come with two Ticket Books though and can get a bit more tricky in the working it all out, but it is easy enough! With the All Access Ticket, you will get sent one Ticket Book that contains the admission wrist bands, the parking pass (if you purchased one- price is still not been announced), the Celebration Of Horses Evening Performance Ticket, the Celebration Horse Redemption Ticket. That all is the first Ticket Book. The second Ticket Book comes into play after the Special Run Preference List is done in May or June. This Ticket Book will only be available to pick up at Will Call starting on Thursday, July 14th. This is where your pick up person will need your account information, like your account number, your full name, etc.

So, yes, you can totally do pick ups with this type of ticket sales and Breyer did kinda cover it in their FAQs, but they kind of pushed it aside a bit, I guess hoping that you will come and not just do pick ups. But of course, I am totally guessing on that one, so don’t hold me to it! The rest of the information is correct as of right now. If it does change, I will make those changes.

Model Horse Pick Up Locations During BreyerFest

Hello once again! This post will go over where you will be able to purchase and pick up your models during BreyerFest weekend. This will also include shipping information.

First, make sure that you have a map handy of the Kentucky Horse Park, if you are not familiar with the area or this is your first time. You can find a map in the BreyerFest 2022 Prost! Models and More Album here in the group. Breyer also has it circled on their sample and I will be adding that to the Album as well.

Model Hand Out Tent

In Person Ticket Holders (VIP, All Access, and General Access) will be picking up their Event Models (Celebration Horse Model Nikolas for the VIP and the All Access Tickets, the Full Set of Event Stablemates for the VIP Tickets, and the randomly selected Event Stablemates for the General Access Tickets) at the Model Pick Up Tent that is located at the corner of Nina Bonnie Drive and Lee Cholak Drive. This is across from the Lunging Pads that are behind the Covered Arena and in front of the Barns where the horses are located. This is also where the All Access Ticket Holders and VIP Ticket Holders will be picking up their Special Runs Models.

VIP Tent

The VIP Tent is new this year and the location has NOT been announced yet. This is where the VIP Ticket Holders will go in order to pick up their Pre-ordered Limited Editions and their Swag Box.

In Person Limited Editions

This year, all of the Limited Editions (from the Portrait models to the Crystal and the rest of those awesome models) will be located in the BreyerFest Stores, while supplies last. At this time, it does not state how many of these stores that there will be or where their locations will be. These BreyerFest Stores will also contain Warehouse Finds, Event Swag (merchandise), and the Full Sets of Event Stablemates (Limited Supply.)

The Online BreyerFest Store

This year, all BreyerFest Ticket Holders (both in person and virtual) will be able to purchase Limited Editions from the BreyerFest Store online. This year, shipping is NOT free. The online BreyerFest Store will go live in the afternoon on Friday, July 15th There is no current set time on when that will be.

Shipping

This year, there is no special BreyerFest shipping rates at this time. The BreyerFest Blog states that shipping rates vary by location. Online Traditional and Online Stablemate Ticket Holders will have all of their Event Models and their purchased Limited Edition models sent to their location. I recommend making sure that your address is correct even now because they will be shipped to the address that Breyer has on file, as we saw for BreyerFest 2021.

Buying Limited Edition Models

No matter what type of ticket that you have, you will be able to purchase Limited Edition models. Limited Editions can and do sell out, however as we saw last year, with the raised numbers, these models did not sell out right away. So, I would just keep that as a reminder in the back of your mind. However, when you purchase Limited Editions during the event, no matter if you are purchasing in person or online, you are only able to purchase one Limited Edition of each kind during one transaction. You are more than welcome to make as many transactions as you want/can afford and you can purchase as many Limited Editions as you want/can afford, just keep in mind that you can only purchase one of each kind during one transaction. So here is a break down:

If you want two Rhenish Draft (the Online Only Limited Edition and the one that I am seeing is very much needed), you will need to buy one and pay for it and then buy the second one. But if you want only one Rhenish Draft and one Torelinie, then you are able to purchase both of them at the same time.

Virtual BreyerFest Veteran Tip: Buy your model and pay for it when you see it. While you may want to just add to your cart and pay at one time, this is a recipe to maybe see your items be “stolen” out of your cart. I know, shipping is not free or pro-rated this year, as far as we know, but this will help with hoping to not lose items. Of course, it could also be perfectly fine since the numbers have raised and I am just stressing for all of you to get the models that you want.

Full Sets of Event Stablemates

Hello and welcome back! This time, I am going to be going over the Full Set of Event Stablemates. This seems super popular this year and while Breyer has released their information, it is shrouded in mystery. I hope that I can help clear it up for you!

VIP Ticket Holders ($230 ticket) will get one Full Set of Event Stablemates with their VIP Ticket.

All Access Ticket holders ($80 ticket) will need to purchase a Full Set of Event Stablemates at the BreyerFest Stores during the in person event in July. There is a limited supply of these Full Sets and right now, the prices has not been announced. In the previous years, it has been $80 to $100.

General Access Ticket Holders ($25 ticket) will receive one randomly selected Event Stablemate for their Event Ticket. Buying more than one of these tickets will NOT guarantee you a Full Set like it did in the past. You will need to purchase a Full Set of Event Stablemates from the BreyerFest Stores at the in person event. The price has not been announced yet.

As of right now, the virtual event tickets, Online Traditional and Online Stablemate tickets, have not had any mention of the Full Set of Event Stablemates.

Let's Talk BreyerFest...Ticket Books, VIP Special Runs and All Access Special Runs, That Is!

Hello!  It has been some time since I have posted.  I am sorry for that as I have been busy in the background.  I have been making sure that the Facebook group is up to date with the information and I have been working on this amazing Google Doc that literally breaks down all of BreyerFest as Breyer releases the information.  So, here is the catch up on some of the posts that I have not posted here:

Ticket Books

So with the release of the Special Run Information, we are seeing something new this year in the form of Ticket Books. This has never happened before, as far as I am aware, and it actually looks very easy to use.

Whether you get a VIP Ticket or an All Access Ticket, you will be getting a Ticket Book. With the All Access Ticket, you will be getting two Ticket Books! These will be mailed to your address, however if you are international, you will need to pick up your Ticket Books at Will Call and the second Ticket Book for the All Access will NEED to be picked up at the Will Call. Will Call opens on Thursday, July 14that the Rolex Gate near the American Saddlebred Museum and will be open all weekend long (normally)

First the VIP Ticket Book. It comes with the following: your admission wristband, Celebration Horse redemption ticket, Stablemates 4-pack redemption ticket, Special Run models redemption tickets, Limited Edition model redemption tickets, your VIP Box redemption ticket, your evening show ticket for the night you selected, and your parking pass for all three days of the weekend.

Next, the All Access Ticket Books: The first one comes with the following: your admission wristbands, redemption tickets for your Celebration Horse Model, your evening show ticket for the night you selected, and a parking pass if you purchase one.

And

The second ticket book will contain your Special Run model redemption tickets and will not be mailed. This book must be picked up on-site at BreyerFest at Special Run Ticket Will Call. Will Call opens on Thursday, July 14th.

If you are picking up models for a friend who is unable to attend the event in-person, you must have complete order information in order to pick up their ticket book.

VIP Special Runs

Hello Roadies! For the next couple posts, I am going to be breaking down how to purchase the Special Runs for each of the two tickets that are able to purchase Special Runs. This will also detail the Ticket Book information that goes along with each of the two ticket options as well.

The first one that I am going to talk about is the VIP Ticket. The VIP Ticket will go on sale some time soon as a first come/ first served type sale. The amount of VIP Tickets has not been revealed yet, so we only know that they are limited in number and limited to one per account. This sale, when it goes live, will cause the website to slow down. Tickets may be “stolen” out of your cart, however Breyer’s website does not have an item saving feature once it is in your cart to purchase. When you pay for your ticket, you will also be paying for your two Special Runs and two Limited Editions. The base price of the ticket is $230 and then you will need to add the cost of the two Special Runs ($60 to $85, depending on the ones that you select) and the cost of the two Limited Editions ($15 to $75 depending on the ones that you select). You are able to select two of any of the Limited Editions except the Online Only ones (The Rhenish Draft and Torelinie). You will also need to select the night that you wish to attend the Celebration of Horses Evening Performance, either Friday or Saturday night.

Once you have selected your models, paid for the ticket, and received confirmation of purchase, then you are able to breathe a sigh of relief that you purchased a VIP Ticket for BreyerFest. But what comes next for you? Next is the Ticket Book.

If you live in the Domestic US, then you will be mailed your Ticket Book. If you are International, then you will need to pick up your Ticket Book at Will Call at the Kentucky Horse Park started on Thursday July 14th. This Ticket Book will contain all of the tickets that you need to get into the event and pick up your models. You will receive your admission wrist bands, a ticket to pick up your Celebration Model, a ticket to pick up your Event Stablemates, a ticket to pick up your Special Runs, a ticket to pick up your Limited Editions, a ticket to pick up your VIP Swag Box, your Parking Pass, and a ticket to the Celebration of Horses Evening Performance.

If you have a VIP Ticket, but are not able to attend the event, you will need to have a friend pick up your models for you as these models will not be shipped. Once you have selected an awesome friend to do this, you will need to send them your Ticket Book once you have received it or if you are International, they will need your complete information in order to pick up your Ticket Book at Will Call.

Right now, we do not know exactly what date the tickets go on sale, we just know that they will go on sale within a week (This sentence will be replaced with the exact date when that is known.) We also do not know exactly where the models will be available to pick up at the park, but that will be posted as soon as that information is released. You will be able to purchase more Limited Editions during the event, however we do not know if you are able to purchase them online rather than at the park, that question has not been directly answered yet.

All Access Special Runs

Hello Roadies! This time, we are going to be talking about those All Access Tickets and the Special Runs that go with them. The All Access Ticket is an $80 ticket and it comes with the ability to purchase two Special Runs per ticket. Unlike the VIP Ticket, there is no set limit on how many of the All Access Tickets that you can purchase at this time. So, while the Special Runs will be sold using the Special Run Preference List, it will still take about five All Access Tickets to attempt to get all nine of the Special Runs, if luck is on your side!

When tickets go on sale, this ticket will be on sale until around mid Spring some time. There will be a limited amount, however we do not know that number and it will likely never be announced to the general public. You will only need to pay the $80 at the time of ticket purchase as you will be selecting and paying for Special Runs at a later date. With this ticket purchase, you will also need to chose either Friday or Saturday Night for your Celebration of Horses Evening Performance and you will need to purchase a Parking Pass separately (price is currently unknown). After you pay for your ticket and parking pass, you are done for the time being.

Once All Access Tickets are no longer on sale, there will be an email sent out to everyone that has purchased an All Access Ticket or Tickets. This email will contain a link for the Special Run Preference List. If you do not get emails, please do not worry as the link will be shared here in the group and will be posted on the Pinned Post in the Featured Section of the group. Once you have logged into the account that purchased your All Access Tickets and have arrived at that page on the Breyer website, you will then get to rank the Special Runs in the order that you like them. That is all that there is to the Special Runs Preference List.

While we do not yet know the exact details of the Special Run Preference List just yet, we do know all about the system used last year and they did state that it would remain the same. So let’s talk about that!

First, we were able to use the Master List. The Master List was where you were able to rank the Special Runs for all of the All Access Tickets on your account using one list. This list is best if you do not want to get many duplicates. You still might get duplicates, but know that this is the option that minimizes that chance. With this list, you will be ranking the Special Runs on one list for all of the tickets that you have so you will have multiple number one spots and so on. Just remember that actual models will vary on luck of the draw and what is available when it is your turn via the Breyer algorithm. Please keep in mind that we do not know what algorithm that they use and we cannot give any insights into it, it just happens.

Second, we were able to use the Individual List. The Individual List was where you were able to rank the Special Runs separately for each ticket that is on your account. If you have two tickets, you would be filling out two lists and so on. This method will get more duplicates, but you can customize it a bit more than the Master List, depending on the Special Runs that you really want. I, personally, used this method for 2020 and 2021 and while I received duplicates in 2020, I did not in 2021, but both times, I received the models that were at the top of my lists.

Here is the information from 2021, edited to remove the details that were specific for 2021:

Purchasing the Special Runs with an All Access Ticket is going to be done using the Special Run Preference List as it was done last year. The Preference List link will be emailed to you in June and that is when you will select your models. You will NOT pay for any models until the actual event in July. When you purchase an All Access Ticket, you will be purchasing a Special Run Ticket. This ticket allows you to purchase up to two Special Runs from the selection of Special Runs.

Closer to the event, you will get an email that will send you a link. You will need to be logged into your account in order to access this page. There you will find a page that will ask you to rank the Special Runs in order of how you like them. This list is set up to help Breyer know what you are thinking and that will be used to decide which models that will be chosen for you when they make the pull. This is all random draw, but there is a high probability that you might get the ones that you wished to get.

The Preference List is how the Special Runs will be sold for all of the All Access Tickets during BreyerFest in July. This year, there are no Time Slots so you absolutely do not need to worry about that for 2022. When you purchase an All Access Ticket, you are allowed to purchase up to two Special Run models. When you purchase your two models (per ticket), you are required to select two different models. They cannot be two of the same type, so you cannot chose two of the surprise models or two Rapunzels. You will not be actually purchasing these models until a bit later. The Preference List is an email with a link to a page on Breyer’s website that will allow you to rank the Special Run models according to your preferences. Ok, but how does it work? When you log into your account and go to that page in early June, you will have two options.

These two options are Master List and Individual List. Breyer will tell you that if you do not want to get duplicates and have more than one ticket, you will be better off using the Master List. However, after experiencing this type of purchasing last year, I will always recommend the Individual List. You might get duplicates, but the Individual List was not affected by many of the glitches that happened last year, which might not happen this year at all. However, this is how each of them will work:

The Master List is an option if you have purchased more than one All Access Ticket on your account. This list will ask you to rank all of the Special Runs for each of your tickets in one list. Your favorite model should be placed at the top of your list and the one that you like the least should be placed near the bottom. How the lists work and how to purchase them will be placed under these two sections so hang in there a moment.

The Individual List is an option for well, all of your tickets, even if you have more than one. However, this will allow you to set your preferences for each ticket that you have purchased on your account. So there will be more than one list that you will be filling out, if you have more than one ticket. The premise is the same, you will need to fill out the list with your favorite first and your least favorite last. But you will need to do this for each ticket. You could potentially get duplicates.

Now, you have read about the Master List and the Individual List and once you have decided, you will then turn in your list to Breyer, You will be able to edit this list for the week or two that it is up. The last list that is turned in will be the list that is used for the selection. If you do not fill out these lists, you will still receive models, but they will be absolutely randomly chosen and you might not receive anything that you had your sights set on so make sure to fill out these lists when the email arrives or when the link is posted in one of the groups, if you do not want to follow this group. After the time period ends for submitting your lists, Breyer will use these lists to randomly assign the Special Run models to your account. This will be done all by random and using your order numbers as your ticket numbers.

And that is the Special Run Preference List. Now, let’s move on to those Ticket Books for the All Access Tickets!

With each All Access Ticket, you will receive two Ticket Books. The first one will be sent out, if you are in the US. International Ticket Holders will need to pick up both Ticket Books at Will Call starting on Thursday July 14th. The first Ticket Book will contain your admission wrist band, your Celebration of Horses Evening Performance for the night that you chose, the tickets for your Celebration Horse Model, and your Parking Pass if you purchased one. The second Ticket Book will contain your Special Run Tickets and must be picked up on site at the Will Call, starting on Thursday July 14th. If you are purchasing an All Access Ticket for your friends to pick up your models for you, you will need to give them your complete order information in order for them to pick up your Special Run Ticket Book. This means that they will need to know your order number, your full name, and address.
