Let’s Talk BreyerFest….Buying Models with a VIP Ticket, That Is!

Let’s Talk BreyerFest...Buying Models with a VIP Ticket, That Is!

In this next series of posts, I will be going over exactly how to purchase the Limited Edition and Special Run Models with each ticket type during BreyerFest. The first ticket type that we are going to go over is the VIP Ticket.

The VIP Ticket comes with a great perk- you are able to select and purchase two Special Runs and two Limited Editions before the event and those models are guaranteed for you. No other ticket offers that option.

You MUST purchase two Special Runs and two Limited Editions. You cannot just select one Special Run or one Limited Edition or no Limited Editions or no Special Runs. It must be two Special Runs and two Limited Editions.

Since you will be paying for the models at the time of ticket purchase, they are absolutely guaranteed that you will be receiving those models during BreyerFest. These models will NOT be shipped to your location as this is an in person only ticket. You are allowed to have someone pick up your models for you though, provided that you send that person along with the tickets and the wristband, information on that account/receipt, and a note of approval from you (if international).

At the event, you will not be able to purchase any more Special Runs. The Special Runs that you purchased before the event, when you purchased your tickets, are the only Special Runs that you will be able to buy. When you receive your Ticket Books (international attendees must pick up their ticket books from Will Call with ID as stated in the BreyerFest FAQs), you will have Redemption Tickets for the two Special Runs that you have chosen. These will be marked in such a way that only a VIP Ticket Holder can redeem them, so when going through the line, you must be wearing a VIP Ticket wristband. The same goes for the two Limited Editions that you purchased in advance- there will be a Redemption Ticket that is specially marked for them as well.

At the event, you are able to purchase as many Limited Editions as you want through the BreyerFest Store. Limited Editions are not limited in how many someone can purchase (they are limited in quantity though). Just head through the BreyerFest Store during BreyerFest and you can buy those awesome Limited Editions.

You are able to purchase Limited Editions off of the virtual BreyerFest Store during BreyerFest as well and have those models shipped to your location. You will be able to purchase the Online Only Limited Editions during BreyerFest.

A Recap of Model Terms:

Special Runs are a series of nine models that are named for things found in the theme of BreyerFest. These models are only able to be purchased by VIP, All Access, and Online Traditional Access Ticket Holders.

Limited Editions are a series of different sized models, including Traditional sized portrait models of Guest Horses, that are available for all ticket holders to purchase during BreyerFest.

VIP Ticket Book Inclusions:

What will come with the VIP Ticket Book? While we do not know exactly what the Ticket Books will look like for this year, we can guess what they might look like based off of last year. With the VIP Ticket Book, you will have one Redemption Ticket for the Celebration Horse Model, one Redemption Ticket for the Event Stablemate Full Set, two Special Run Redemption Tickets for the Special Runs that you selected and paid for, two Limited Edition Redemption Tickets for the Limited Editions that you selected and paid for, one ticket for the Celebration of Horses Evening Performance for the evening that you selected, one Parking Pass, and one Admission wristband that must be worn at all times during the event. Last year, there was also a map of BreyerFest and a small FAQ section, in case that you needed it.

And Lastly-

Breyer accepts cash and cards at BreyerFest, no checks at all. Make sure that you let your credit/debit card agency or bank know that you will be traveling and that you will incur charges from all over the US and some international even. There are very few ATMs in the area so if you need cash, make sure to grab it before coming to the Kentucky Horse Park. The internet is known to go down at BreyerFest, at least once during the event, so if you have cash, the lines can go a bit faster. At the Clarion, cash is king since many people do not accept cards or PayPal.
