BreyerFest 2020 REcap #12

BreyerFest 2020 Recap #13:

We are back to the recaps! Breyer has been spying on us here in the group, I just know it! Their newest update of the FAQs included some of the questions that have been on our recaps as well as the ones that we had gone over in several other posts. That is awesome!

The FAQs updated yesterday with some amazing information that is for everyone. Let’s jump into this awesome list:

1. BreyerFest will NOT end at night, but will show the performances all night long for all of the different time zones.

2. BreyerFest will end at 4 PM EDT on Sunday July 12th.

3, BreyerFest unofficially starts on Thursday July 9th when the Artisan’s Gallery (Which is virtual and will have a link) goes Live! This will also be when the Live Auction models are revealed as well!

4, Raffle Information is still coming, hang in there!

5. The Program will be released the week of BreyerFest, This will be when the prices are released.

6. Shipping is a one time fee for those that do not live in the Domestic US.

7. BreyerFest officially opens at 9AM EDT on Friday, July 10th.

8. Accessing BreyerFest content is easy, just log into your Breyer website account! Once logged in, you will have access to all things BreyerFest!

9. BreyerFest is a mix of Live and Prerecorded material, so you do NOT need to sit in front of your computer all weekend long.

10. All times listed are in Eastern Daylight Time

11. There will be content posted on more than just their website, it will be posted on Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, and more. Plus, Road To BreyerFest will post it in the group and on their page when a link is available.

12. Inventory for BreyerFest, this includes the Store Specials and the Fling! Pop Up Shop models, are released periodically all weekend long. While they can and do sell out, it is best to check back often as it may be restocked!

13. Shipping from BreyerFest starts on July 13th. Exclusive Models will be shipped first while swag and other purchases will be shipped following them. You will likely get more than one box, but you will only be charged once for shipping.

14. Shipping from BreyerFest should be complete by July 25th. Orders placed after 8pm EDT on Sunday July 12th will be shipped last.

15. Access to what is included with the tickets is as follows:

ALL ticket holders (Celebration/3-Day/Single-Day) have access to the following content:

    • Equine entertainment – videos provided by this year’s equestrian demo groups and guest horses that include interviews and performances

    • Curated “warehouse finds” boxes in the Virtual Breyer Store

16. If the virtual event is not for you, then please read the following:

Any requests for refunds must be made PRIOR to July 8, 2020. After this date, refund requests will not be accommodated.

  • Refunds BEFORE JULY 8 are possible, but not until AFTER the event.

  • Unfortunately, we are too close to the event to process refunds OR make changes to your account. This includes partial refunds or rollovers.  The deadline for refunds/rollovers was June 1 as posted to the website and ticket page and indicated in several emails and social media posts.

  • We can, however, issue you a refund/rollover AFTER July 13th if you chose to not purchase any BreyerFest items.

    • Your tickets will remain active for the event. Please enjoy the videos and galleries on us for the weekend.

    • If you decide the event is not for you and YOU DO NOT PURCHASE any BreyerFest items, we will process your refund post-event.

    • If you DO PURCHASE any special BreyerFest items, you will forfeit your refund.

    • Customer Service will take a look at your purchases for the weekend before processing refunds. You do not need to do anything further.

  • Please contact Customer Service with any questions or for ticket refunds at 1-800-413-3348 or breyerwebstore@reevesintl.com.

17. Your Special Run Time Slot is found on your Breyer website account. Make sure to read the Recaps as they will tell you exactly how and where to find this information.

18. What happens if you miss your Special Run Time Slot? You will have access to the models that are available for you to purchase through the BreyerFest Special Runs page for 24 hours from the time of your ticket. For example, if your Special Run ticket time is Saturday at 3 pm (EDT), you will have until Sunday, July 12, 2020 at 2:59 pm EDT to complete your purchase.

  • If you plan to purchase the models available to you, move them to your cart. They will be safely held in your cart for 24 hours if you’d like to do other shopping.

  • You are not required to purchase the models available to you, but no other models will be made available to you of you opt out of the ones selected.

  • If you do not complete your purchase within the 24 hours, your Special Run models will be removed from your cart and will no longer be available for you to purchase. Please do not forget to make your purchase within the 24 hour timeframe.

19. Buying the Store Specials and the Fling Pop Up Shop models may sound insane, but rest assured that it is not as crazy as it sounds. It is limited to once per ticket per day. If you have more than one ticket per day, then you can buy more than one of the models per day. the number of “trips” you can complete is based on the number of tickets you have for that day.  So, if you have two 3-day tickets, you can complete/check out twice with Limited Edition items. You can browse as often as you wish, but if you purchase any of the Limited Edition items, it will count as one completed “trip”.

Please note: Unlike Special Run models, these are not held for you in your cart and are subject to availability. It is highly recommended you complete your purchase as soon as possible if these items are in your cart. As always, the Store Specials and themed products are very popular.

  • Limited Edition models from the Store Special Collection and the Fling! Pop-Up Shop Collection are available to ALL ticket holders.

  • These models will be in one online store.

  • The number of daily “trips” through this online store is based on the quantity and type of ticket a shopper has. If you have multiple event tickets, you will be able to take multiple “trips” through this online store.

  • Each completed check-out counts as ONE “trip” through the store.

  • As with on-site BreyerFest, these models are limited to one per trip.

All of this information is straight from Breyer, so if you need to read it for yourself, it is in the updated FAQ page. I hope this helps a bit more and I know that I am getting super excited for BreyerFest 2020!

BreyerFest 2020 RECAP

Road To BreyerFest

BreyerFest 2020 Information Recap

Tickets:

Tickets were offered in several different categories this year and all of them have their highlights.

Adult Three Day Tickets were the absolute highest level of access for this Virtual BreyerFest. They offered a Celebration Model, Access to purchase Special Run Models, Access to purchase ONE Breyer Warehouse Grab Bag per ACCOUNT, Access to purchase Store Specials and Fling! Pop Up Shop Models, Access to Behind the Scenes tours at the Kentucky Horse Park and other various Horse Farms, Access to virtual interviews and performances by Guest Horses, Access to the Celebration Of Horses Evening Performance by Silvia Zerbini and the Celebration of Horses Performers, Access to the virtual Workshops, Access to the virtual seminars, Access to the virtual Equus Film Festival, $20 in Free Raffle Tickets, $10 coupon for BreyerFest Swag, Access to the virtual Live Show, and more.

Child Three Day Tickets were the next tier and offered much of the same of what the Adult Ticket had to offer. They included Access to purchase the Special Runs, Access to purchase Store Specials and Fling! Pop Up Shop models, Access to Behind The Scenes tours, Access to the virtual interviews and performances by the Guest Horses, Access to the Celebration of Horses Evening Performance by Sylvia Zerbini and the Celebration of Horses Performers, Access to the virtual workshops, Access to the virtual seminars, Access to the virtual Equus Film Festival, and more. This ticket level did NOT include everything that the Adult Three Day Ticket included.

Celebration Tickets are the next step down and were new this year. Offered after May 1st, these tickets allowed those that purchase them to receive the Celebration Horse, Access to purchase the Store Specials and the Fling! Pop Up Shop Models, Access to the virtual Workshops, Access to the virtual seminars, Access to the virtual Equus Film Festival, Access to the virtual Live Show, Access to behind the scenes tours, Access to the virtual interviews and performances by the Guest Horses, Access to the virtual Celebration of Horses Performance, and more. This level did NOT allow you to purchase the Special Runs.

The last Ticket option was the Single Day Tickets. These tickets were offered in either a Single Day option where you purchased your tickets and received the Stablemate model at random or a 4 Pack which allowed you to get all four of the Stablemates that were offered. The 4 pack sold out within hours, but still allowed you the same type of access that the Single Day Tickets allowed for all three of the days. The Single Day tickets allowed Access to purchase Store Specials and Fling! Pop Up Shop models, Access to the virtual Seminars, Access to the virtual Equus Film Festival, Access to virtual interviews and performances by Guest Horses, and more. This type of ticket does NOT allow much of what the Three Day Tickets offers as it is a lower tier of ticket type. The 4 pack of tickets still allows you the same access of the Single Day Tickets, but for all three days.

Reminder that you absolutely need to have an active Breyer website account to participate in the Virtual BreyerFest! This is NOT something that Road To BreyerFest can help you with. You will need to call Breyer Customer Service to have them help you set this up.

To check your ticket days or time slots, you will need to log into your Breyer Website account and go to the Account Details page. Scroll down to where you purchased your tickets (I normally look at prices) and click on the order number. That will then pull up the page with those details and it will say what day and time your Special Run Time Slot is for or what day your Single Day Ticket is on.

Models:

There are several types of models that are available at all BreyerFests and this year is no different in that regard. Exactly where they are located on the website will be announced at a later date.

Celebration Horse: Ballynoe Castle RM, an Irish Sport Horse on the Show Jumping Warmblood mold. He is free to ALL Three Day Ticket Holders.

Single Day Stablemates: Jersey the walking Thoroughbred, Orkney the Palomino Pinto Clydesdale, Skye the Morgan, and Arran the bay roan pony. These stablemates are free to all SINGLE DAY TICKET HOLDERS. Unless you purchased a 4 pack, the Stablemate that is sent to you is Gambler’s Choice, this means a randomly selected model.

Special Runs Models: These 9 models are ONLY available to Adult and Child Three Day Ticket Holders. They require a Special Run Ticket to purchase and these tickets went off sale in May.

Store Special Models: These 3 models are available to ALL ticket holders. Located in the Breyer Store at a normal BreyerFest, these models are always portraits of Guest Horses.

Fling! Pop Up Shop Models: Also known as the Tent Models, these 5 models are available to ALL ticket holders. Located in the Pop Up Tents at a normal BreyerFest, these models are always related to the actual theme of the event.

Where the models will actually be located in the Virtual BreyerFest is not something that we all know just yet, but that information is coming soon. As soon as we know exactly where it is located, we will share a link with the group.

Buying Models:

Special Runs: On June 1st, there was an email sent out that asked for your Preference List. This List was just an insight to help Breyer understand which models appealed to you more than others. The virtual line is being ran the exact same way that the line at the event is ran. It is all based on luck and where you are in the line. If you did NOT send in a Preference List, you WILL still receive models when your time slot is up, they will just be at random. During BreyerFest, you absolutely do NOT have to be on the computer or whatever you access the Breyer website from all day long. If you are only wanting to purchase the Special Runs (Store Special purchasing will be down below), you will receive an email when your models are available to purchase. They can remain in your cart for up to 24 hours and you absolutely do NOT need to buy them if you do not want to. Remember that you cannot change them at all, the ones that are on your page are the only ones that you will receive. If you do not receive an email, you will be able to access the page to purchase them at your time slot only.

Store Special Models: These models are available to ALL ticket holders and will be available in the Breyer Store during the Virtual BreyerFest. There will likely be a button to click that will take you there so you will not need to search for it. Road To BreyerFest will also provide a link once it is revealed. These models will NOT sit in your cart for the 24 hours that your Special Runs do. Store Specials can and do sell out so purchase these soon. You can purchase one of each per ticket per day. If you have one ticket, then you can purchase one of each Store Special on that day.

Fling! Pop Up Shop Models: These models are available to ALL ticket holders and will be available during the Virtual BreyerFest. Their location is NOT exact just yet, but the link will be shared as soon as it is available. Purchasing these models is the exact same way that you purchase the Store Special Models. One of each kind per ticket per day.

Adult Three Day Ticket Warehouse Grab Bag: These are offered to the ADULT THREE DAY TICKET holders ONLY. We are not sure how long they will be available, but they are limited to ONE PER ACCOUNT ONLY! There will be different price points and each one offers models that go with that price, but which ones exactly are a mystery until you open them.

Raffle and Auction Information: HAS NOT BEEN RELEASED YET.

Prices: HAS NOT BEEN RELEASED YET

Shipping:

Domestic US: Free

Canada, Alaska, Hawaii: $10

Other International: $25

These shipping costs are each time that you check out from your cart. Models will be shipped however is logistically best for Breyer so no one will know exactly how many boxes that they will receive.

Workshops: These are available to all Three Day Ticket Holders. They are free of charge and will be available all weekend long at any time during the weekend. There will be Special Live Demonstrations all weekend long and a schedule will be posted in the program when it is released.

Seminars: These are available to ALL ticket holders and will be available all weekend long at any time of the weekend.

Artisan’s Gallery: Will be virtual with links to the artist’s websites, more information coming soon.

This is all of the information that can be found on Breyer’s website under the FAQs as well as our own Files, Recaps, and more.

BreyerFest 2020 Recap #11

BreyerFest Recap #11: What?! BreyerFest is in two weeks?! Are you serious? Of course, we are! That being said, this recap will be getting into what is going to happen that is NOT buying plastic ponies, although buying plastic ponies is pretty fun as well.

While we are experiencing a virtual event, we will still be treated to interviews with Guest Horses. I have also seen some previews from all over the internet that there will be past Guest Horses interviews as well. This year, we will see interviews and performances from the Celebration Horse Ballynoe Castle RM, The Gangster Ponies, Avatar's Jazzman, Stingray, the Tempel Lippizans, Lil Ricky Rocker, and many more horses! The Store Special Horses will also be making appearances as well I have seen videos from Repeat The Beat and Patrick the Minature Horse as well. These interviews will also include performances to watch that were created just for BreyerFest 2020.

If you have a Three Day Ticket, you will have access to behind the scenes tours of the Kentucky Horse Park, a special performance by Sylvia Zerbini and the Celebration Of Horses Performers, access to the virtual workshops which are free this year, access to the virtual seminars which are always free, access to the virtual Equus Film Festival which includes three films to watch, and more!

If you have a Single Day ticket, you have access to the film festival, access to the virtual seminars, access to the interviews with the guest horses and their performances. Access is limited as this is not a Three Day Ticket.

There is much more to BreyerFest than just buying plastic ponies and even virtually, you can expect to see some amazing things! Breyer has worked hard to move this event to a virtual event and I, for one, cannot wait to see what all they have to offer.

Please note that we are a positive community and while we understand that everyone is not happy with how everything worked out this year, there is absolutely nothing that can be done about it. Breyer did offer a refund period in case you did not want to participate or roll over your tickets to 2021 in hopes that next year will be back to the onsite locations. Posts are vetted before they are accepted or declined so as to keep this a positive community. This year, we are all BreyerFest newbies and I know that I am quite excited to see what Breyer has to offer, even though I will not be meeting up with my friends this year!

BreyerFest 2020 Recap #9

BreyerFest Recap #9: We have gone over tickets, models, purchasing models, what models are there, is there absolutely anything else to go over?! Of course there is!

Raffle information and Auction information has NOT been released just yet, however we do know that they are happening and the information is being finalized. I have asked Breyer for you and was told that it is still being finalized and that it will be coming soon. I promise it will be soon!

The program will be available both on the website and as a PDF so that it can be printed out, if you'd like. As soon as it is released, we will definitely link it here and update the price file to reflect the new prices. I have asked Breyer and was told that the prices will be near the same so for those that are budgeting, using the price file will be your absolute best bet right now versus waiting until next week.

The app is on the way! Now this app is normally an iPhone app and an internet based app for Android users. It is free to use and is currently in the process of being completed for all of us!

BreyerFest starts on Friday July 10th between 9 am and 10 am EDT. There is no set time as it will be when they can get everything started, but this lines up with the live event. You do not need to sit in front of your computer all weekend long, unless you want to. There will be numerous things to do beside purchase models and they all promise to be amazing! Remember, you can find the ticket information on your account detail page on Breyer's website.

You absolutely NEED to have an active account to participate in BreyerFest 2020. If you purchase your tickets under a guest account or are having any type of account issue, you definitely NEED to contact Breyer Customer Service. The number or email address can be found on Breyer's website and you will need to get ahold of them to help you with this. Remember that while we can help you with many, many things, we are still just a fan based group and do not have access to their inner workings.

Shipping has been gone over before as we talked about cost and how you should check out, but let's quickly get into the actual shipping. Shipping will begin right after BreyerFest, likely the next day or maybe even on that Sunday. Things will be shipped whatever is logistically best for them so your models might not be all in the same box. You could have many boxes showing up at your door or very little, it just depends on how they find it easier to ship. The shipping information can be found in the FAQs on their website along with the In Depth BreyerFest 2020 file here in the group.

I hope this recap answered some of your questions and don't worry, we will be back with more recaps tomorrow! If you would like to suggest a recap, drop a comment below!

BreyerFest 2020 #10

BreyerFest Recap #10:  Whew, we have been doing recaps over everything! This year we are all technically newbies as this is a whole new event, even for those that have attended BreyerFest since the very beginning. There have been some questions that still are awaiting answers and some that won't be answered until the actual event.

The RAFFLE AND AUCTION information still has not been released yet. From my information, they are still finalizing details and do not want to release any information about these two events yet without it all being true and accurate. While we all desperately want to know how it will work, Breyer has asked us to hang in there and that is totally what I am recommending. Here at RTB, we cannot make assumptions so we will not be and we will be waiting until Breyer releases that information and we will share it here immediately and make a video for it.

You ABSOLUTELY must have an active account for BreyerFest.  We are coming down to the wire, so please make sure that your account is active and ready to go. If you need help with this, you absolutely must contact Breyer Customer Service as we are only a fan based group. Make sure that your PayPal is set up and ready to go or that you will have your Credit/debit card ready to go.  There is a known glitch that if the paypal address and the email used to make your Breyer account doesn't match up, your tickets will not show up. Make sure to check your addresses and test them, if need be. Breyer has addressed this and said that they will help, if needed.

BreyerFest will start sometime between 9 am and 10 am EDT on Friday, July 10th.  The exact time is up to Breyer, but of course, we will immediately scream that it is live and you can go online now.  You absolutely do NOT have to sit in front of the computer all weekend long. I am, but that is because I will be documenting it all for our records, in case this ever happens again. I will have two or three screens running so that I can watch and inform the group of what is happening. You also do not need to purchase your models immediately, if you have a three day ticket.  Yes, models can and do sell out, but they will be restocked daily, that we know of, and according to Breyer, in other time zones as well.  We do not know everything about how that will work as we are all new to this.

Yes, there will absolutely still be a RTB Meet and Greet on Thursday. It will be later in the day so that others can join in the fun.  It will be done on FB events or Discord (those two are the strongest competitors for being able to handle everyone) and will include trivia.

RTB will be available all BreyerFest weekend and here to help explain the awesome things that we will see.  Rest assured that we will post on all of our social media when things are released, except for YouTube as that takes FOREVER to upload and I will upload all of the day's information at night.

I hope this helps a bit!

BreyerFest 2020 Recap #8

BreyerFest 2020 Recap #8: Today's recap is a bit photo heavy as we go back over which models have been released.  Please note that prices have NOT been released yet and as soon as they are, we will certainly share them here in this group. Also note that the RAFFLE INFORMATION  has NOT been released yet.

First, we start with Ballynoe Castle RM, the Celebration Horse. This lovely bay horse on the Show Jumping Warmblood mold is available to all Three Day Ticket Holders. This includes the Adult, Child, and Celebration Tickets.

Next is the Single Day Stablemates.  These fun little guys are quite lovely in color this year and are available to Single Day Ticket Holders. If you bought your tickets individually, these little guys will be shipped to you randomly, each ticket gets one amazing little Stablemate. If you purchased the 4 Pack Single Day Stablemate Ticket, you get all four of these amazing little guys.

Next is Dyflin. This lovely black Esprit was the Early Bird Raffle Model. Those that purchased their tickets before April 30th were entered into a drawing to receive this guy.  Only three were made and they have been drawn and received by their owners already.

Next are the Raffle Models. Do note that information has not been released about how the Raffle with work, but we do get to see the models.  Order Of The Thistle is the amazing Saddlebred on the Hamilton mold for Saturday and Fields of Heather is the stunning Appaloosa on the Altyani mold for Sunday. There are normally 25 to 26 of these models produced.

Next come the Special Runs. These nine models were available to Adult and Child Three Day Ticket Holders only. This year, we had to turn in our Preference List for Breyer to understand how we ordered them in our mind. The line will work the same as in person, all completely random. Their prices are the only ones that have been released to date and can be found in our Price file that contains previous BreyerFest prices to help gauge what the prices would be during the event.

Then come the Store Special Models.  These three models are portrait models that are available to ALL ticket holders through the Breyer Store.  While we do not know exactly where they will be located on the website, we do know that they will be there. They usually cost $70 to $75, but prices are subject to change. Please remember that they can and do sell out quickly so once they are in your cart, it is recommended to check out soon. You are also limited in how to purchase them, it is one per ticket per day.

The following photos then are the Fling! Pop Up Shop models.  These lovely horses are all based on the actual theme and are considered souvenirs for the event. Their prices vary and can be anywhere from $10 up to $45, but again prices can change. They are available to purchase like the Store Specials and are also limited and can and do sell out.

Finally, the last three pictures are the Prize Models. Cornwall, the Appaloosa Latigo, and Breton, the pinto Darwin, are available to the Winners of the Best Customs Contest. The amazing Feis is available to the winners of the Diorama Contest.

I hope this helps you know what all models are available during BreyerFest!

BreyerFest 2020 Recap #7

BreyerFest 2020 Recap #7:

Today’s recap will go over what will happen at BreyerFest online. BreyerFest will take place on Breyer’s website during July 10, 11, and 12. We will share links to our Facebook page as much as we are able to do so, but remember that we might possible miss some stuff. Links will be shared across all platforms when we share them, so rest assured that you will be updated to all of the awesome events that are going to take place. Breyer is confident that their server can handle the traffic and we are not here to judge how it will happen so do keep that in mind.

You do not need to be online all day long, if you do not wish to be. There will be interviews with Guest horses and their owners as well as other things that they have discussed in their blog posts. If you have a Three Day Ticket, you will have access to behind the scenes tours of the Kentucky Horse Park, a special performance by Silvia Zerbini and the Celebration of Horses Performers, access to the virtual workshops and seminars, and more. If you have a Single Day Ticket, you will have access to interviews and performances by the guest horses, access to the virtual seminars, and access to the virtual Equus Film Festival. The 4 Pack of Single Day Stablemate Tickets gives you all thee days of BreyerFest access with the Single Day Level of access so please do keep that in mind. The Celebration Ticket is a Three Day Ticket that gives you the same access as the Child’s Three Day Ticket.

Purchasing your models will be online only. It appears that there will be a banner to click on to go to the Breyer Store and from there, you will be able to purchase the models. Remember that Store Special models and Fling! Pop Up Shop models are available to ALL TICKET HOLDERS. Other merchandise will be available all weekend long. We cannot tell you how to purchase your models, however we will say that Store Specials and Fling! Pop Up Shop models can and do sell out over the normal BreyerFest weekend so keep that in mind. They will not hang around in your cart so you will need to purchase them quickly, whereas the Special Run models that are available to the Adult and Child Three Day Ticket holders are able to remain in your cart for up to 24 hours. Shipping is applied to every time that you purchase items. We are not entirely sure how they will be shipped as Breyer did state that they will be shipped however is logistically best for them so you many receive several boxes, even if you purchased one or two items.

The Raffles and the Auctions have not been addressed yet in the BreyerFest Blog and we have been told to hang in there as they will release the information as soon as it is finalized. The actual start time of the event has not been released yet either. Rest assured that as soon as this information is released, we will share it with you across all of our media platforms.

BreyerFest 2020 Recap #6

BreyerFest Recap #6: Today, we are going to show you how to find your ticket day and time for your Special Run Ticket. There are several videos and posts in the group, but this photo will show where it is located. Make sure to always watch the videos and search the group as your questions might have already been answered.
Let's get right into it, When you went to purchase your BreyerFest ticket, you needed to pick a day and time for your Special Run Ticket and a day to view the Celebration Of Horses Evening Performance. If you had multiple tickets, it was easier to purchase them separately as they could not separate the Special Run Ticket times, however since this is a virtual BreyerFest that no longer applies and multiple ticket times are perfectly ok.
After you purchased your ticket, you were given an order number on your Account Detail Page. Now, if you are like me, you are NEVER going to remember that number. However, when you log in and are automatically taken to the Account Detail page, scroll down to the price that you paid for the BreyerFest ticket. From there, move to the left side of the screen and you will find a clickable number that is at least 5 or 6 digits long. Click that number and you will be taken to the order page. Scroll down a tiny bit and you will see your day and time. For example, on the photo, the day and time say SUN10AM. And the Celebration of horses evening performance day is Saturday.
I hope this helps a bit more and make sure to tune into the Live videos to learn more about this virtual event!

BreyerFest 2020 Recap #5

BreyerFest 2020 Recap #5: This recap will explore the Odds and Ends of the tickets and purchasing of models before we move on into what to expect during the Online Event.

First, I do want to mention that RAFFLE TICKETS AND THE AUCTION HAVE NOT been addressed by Breyer yet, but we have been promised that it is coming as soon as the information is finalized. We will NOT be accepting posts on these two subjects as we do not have the information yet. We are all in the same boat this year as we wait for the information to be released, so hang in there, it is coming!

The Preference List for the Special Runs was to be submitted on June 15th. The email went out the week of June 1st and gave 15 days to complete this list. We had given many explanations of how it worked, videos of how to submit the list, and exactly what the list was. It is just a way to let Breyer into your inner thoughts, nothing more than that. There was absolutely no mention of it being for inventory or that you were promised to get the models that were listed exactly on your list. There are absolutely no guarantees other than you will get a model. However, if you did not submit a list, you will still get models, but they will be chosen for you. You absolutely do NOT have to purchase ANY of these models. Make sure to read the In Depth BreyerFest 2020 as well as the last few recaps to further understand this topic.

Next, I am going to address the purchasing of models. We absolutely DO NOT KNOW WHAT TIME BreyerFest will open on Friday as this time has NOT been released yet. But rest assured that as soon as it is released, we will absolutely post it. The Store Special models and the Fling! Pop Up Shop models can and do sell out. We absolutely do recommend purchasing those as soon as they are in your cart as they are not guaranteed to not be sold out. Special Runs are able to be in your cart FOR UP TO 24 HOURS before purchasing them so there is no need to immediately log into your account if you are working or busy at the exact time of your time slot.

If you have shipping questions, it is likely best to email or call Breyer as again, we are not a part of them, only an informative group that helps answer your questions about this amazing event.

Questions are usually answered by the files, the videos, and comments on here. There are some topics that we do not allow posts on, but know that those questions will be answered as well when the information is released. This year is new to everyone, but we are here to help you plan your adventure!

BreyerFest 2020 Recap 4

BreyerFest Recap #4: So we have gone over what to expect, tickets, and what types of models will be available at BreyerFest. Today, we will be recapping how you will be able to purchase the models.
First, let's talk about the Store Special models. These models are portrait models that are available to all ticket holders. They are limited though in how many you will be allowed to purchase each day.  The limit depends on how many tickets that you have and what type of ticket that you have.  A Single Day Ticket is only allowed to purchase ONE of each Store Special on the day that their ticket is for.  A Three Day Ticket can purchase one of each Store Special per day, this includes the Adult Three Day Ticket, the Child's Three Day Ticket, and the Celebration Ticket. For example, if you have two Three Day Tickets, you can purchase up to two of each Store Special on each day. The store will restock at different times of the day to allow for other time zones and will definitely restock each day when they sell out.

The same goes for the Fling! Pop Up Shop models.  These models are also limited to one per ticket per day, depending on your ticket type.  As with above, the Single Day Ticket Holders can purchase one of each of the Fling! Pop Up Shop models on the day of their tickets.  The Three Day Ticket Holders can purchase one per ticket once per day, so this would mean that potentially you could get three Greenmans for example. If you have more than one Three Day Ticket, you can purchase that amount of each model per day. For example, two three day tickets will allow you to purchase two Greenmans per day.

The BreyerFest Warehouse Grab Bag is the only "model" type that is exclusively limited to ONE certain ticket type and is limited to ONE PER ACCOUNT, NOT ONE PER TICKET. Only Adult Three Day Ticket Holders are eligible to purchase this grab bag and there will be several price points available to choose from. This is not a feature that is available to the Celebration Ticket Holders or the Child's Three Day Ticket Holders.

Next, let's recap the Special Run models.  The Special Run Tickets were only available to Adult Three Day Ticket Holders and Child's Three Day Ticket Holders.  Celebration Ticket Holders and Single Day Ticket Holders were NOT eligible for a Special Run Ticket with their tickets. When you submitted your preferences by June 15th, you gave Breyer an insight on to how you ranked the models in your mind. This does not guarantee that you will get those models per say, but they will do their best to accommodate your ranking with how you ticket stands in line, which is a random draw through order numbers. The line works basically the same way that it does as the main event. Once your time slot has come up during BreyerFest weekend, you will get an email telling you that your choices are available to purchase. You are NOT able to choose other models, however you are also NOT required to purchase them if you do not wish to do so.  You have up to 24 hours to purchase these models only. However, if you missed the time frame to return the Special Run Preference List, models will be assigned to you randomly so you will not miss out on your Special Run Models.

I hope that this cleared up a bit more for you and stay tuned for our next recap tomorrow! Breyerfest is growing closer every day and I know that I am very excited and hope that you are as well.

BreyerFest Recap #3

BreyerFest 2020 Recap: So we've gone over quite a few things already and there is still much more to recap. Today, this whole recap is about tickets!

There are technically four different kinds of tickets for BreyerFest 2020: The Adult Three Day Ticket, the Child's Three Day Ticket, The Celebration Ticket, and the Single Day Ticket. There are also different levels of access and extras that go with each ticket type.
The Adult Three Day Ticket is the absolute highest level of access and extras that was available for the event. This ticket comes with the Special Run Ticket, the Celebration Model, access to the virtual event for all three days, $20 worth of free raffle tickets, $10 coupon for BreyerFest swag, ability to purchase the NPOD Grab Bag that we talked about yesterday, access to purchase Store Models, access to purchase Fling! Pop Up Shop models, access to enter into the raffles, access to the auctions, access to the virtual workshops, access to virtual senimars, ability to enter the Breyer Photo Show, access to the virtual Equus Film Festival, access to behind the scenes videos of KHP and other horse farms, access to interviews and performances by guest horses, a special performance by Sylvia Zerbini and the Celebration of Horses performers, and bonus content from other BreyerFest Partners, and perhaps more.
The Child's Three Day Ticket comes with much of the same as above: The Special Run Ticket, the Celebration Model, access to purchase Store Special Models, access to purchase Fling! Pop Up Shop models, access to the raffles, access to the auctions, access to the workshops and virtual seminars, access to the behind the scenes at KHP and the other horse farms, access to interviews and performances with guest horses, access to the virtual Equus Film Festival, access to a special performance by Silvia Zerbini and the Celebration of Horses performers, and bonus content from other BreyerFest partners.
The Single Day Tickets come with ONE Gambler's Choice stablemate model (random choice) from this year's line up of Single Day Models and one day access to the virtual BreyerFest, access to purchase Store Special models, access to purchase Fling! Pop Up Shop models, access to enter into the raffles, access to the auctions, access to the virtual seminars, access to the Equus Film Festival, and perhaps more.
The Single Day Four Pack Tickets offer the same amount of access as the Single Day tickets, except that you get access to all three days of virtual BreyerFest content that the Single Day Ticket holders will get, and you receive all four stablemates as well as a commemorative Celtic Fling magnet.
And last was the newly added Celebration Ticket. Due to Three Ticket sales being cut off a bit early to keep the Special Run Line fair, there were still some Celebration Models available and thus the Celebration Tickets were created. These are three day tickets that allow access to the virtual BreyerFest content, Celebration Horse model, access to purchase the Store Special models, access to purchase the Fling! Pop Up Shop models, and a bit more. This option does not have all of the access that adult three day ticket holders have.

There will be no printed tickets this year and no tickets will be mailed out.

I hope this helps a bit more with the explanation of the tickets that you have purchased and explains a bit of just what you can expect to find on the Breyer Website come BreyerFest weekend. All of this information can be found on the FAQ section of Breyer's website as well as our file section and their BreyerFest Blog.

BreyerFest Recap 2020 (Special Edition): This special edition of our Recap will go over model access during BreyerFest, what each ticket types will be allowed to purchase and what they will receive.

-Ballynoe Castle RM Celebration Horse is available to all three day ticket holders: Adult, Child, and Celebration

-Single Day Stablemates are available to all Single Day Ticket Holders

-Limited Editions such as the Store Specials and the Fling! Pop Up Shop models are available to all ticket holders and the number of daily "trips" through the stores for these models are based on the number and type of ticket, each completed check out is one trip.

-NPOD Grab Bags is available only to Adult Three Day Ticket holders and is limited to ONE per ACCOUNT for the weekend. The amount of tickets does not matter as it is limited per account.

-Special Runs are available to Adult and Child Three Day Ticket holders only. Celebration and Single Day Ticket holders are NOT eligible to purchase Special Run Models at the event.

-BreyerFest Swag is available to all ticket holders.

I hope this all helps to clear things up a bit more!

BreyerFest Recap #2

BreyerFest 2020 Recap: So yesterday, we went over the types of models, that it will be available online, and the Special Run Preference List. Today, we are going to just jump right into it with the Ninja Pit Of Death as the Friday Morning Line is so lovingly called. At a normal BreyerFest, this line wraps around the parking lot of the Kentucky Horse Park and if you are in the front part of the line, you will get to see some amazing models that are placed in the Breyer Store onsite at BreyerFest. These models range from Club models that did not sell, previous Special Runs, and stuff that was just sitting in their warehouse. This year, we are not physically there so Breyer has come up with a way for every Three Day Ticket Holder to experience the Ninja Pit. This year, Breyer is offering a Warehouse Grab Bag that is limited to ONE per ACCOUNT. They will be available in a small variety of price ranges and you will receive models that are worth that price range. This was announced later, after the Three Day Ticket sales were cut off. Again, it is limited to one per account.

Next, there was a matter of shipping. Those in the Domestic US will receive free shipping, those in Canada, Alaska, and Hawaii will get a flat rate of $10 shipping per time that they check out. All other International participants will get a flat rate of $25 every time that they check out. This lowered shipping price applies to EVERYTHING during BreyerFest, including regular run items. This would be an awesome time to get those stablemates that you wanted.

Raffles and Auctions still have not been posted yet, but it was announced that they would still happen. They are open to US Residents by law. I am sorry that not every one can participate, but these are fee based and not included in the ticket price. The full information about this can always be found on the Breyer website.

The Best Customs Contest just had their submission time end and was open to US Residents as well. This is always an amazing time to see some of the great artwork that the artists of the hobby put out. The winners will be announced during BreyerFest weekend.

The Diorama Contest is still ongoing so make sure to get those finished up and the photos and video emailed to Breyer. Make sure to read the posts by Robin Briscoe that details exactly what they are looking for and how to enter those entries!

This is all for this recap, but don't worry another recap is coming tomorrow! Don't forget that we will be going Live again this weekend to answer your BreyerFest questions. Have an amazing day, Roadies!

BreyerFest 2020 Recap #1

BreyerFest 2020 Recap: So as we all know, this year is a virtual event. This has opened up the amazing world of BreyerFest to more people than ever before! That means that there are now more questions than ever before and that is a good thing! Breyer has placed an amazing FAQ up on their website and we have one here in our files as well that goes a bit more in depth. The only answers that we are lacking are answers that have not been released from Breyer just yet. Switching to a virtual event is a massive undertaking and I think that they are doing amazing!
So far, we do not have answers about the raffles and the Auction, however I do know that they are coming soon, so please hang in there.

We are also still waiting on the pricing, but that is a normal thing during BreyerFest prep. Prices are not released until around 2 weeks before the event. We, here in the group, keep price lists from 2017 until 2019 so that there is a visual on where the prices might fall when they are released.

The Special Run Preference List was due last night, but if you missed it, you will still receive models, just a random draw of models.

There are several categories of models that are available during BreyerFest from Special Runs to Store Specials. Each one has their own price point and what they are exactly. These categories are Special Runs that are available only to Three Day Ticket Holders, Store Specials which are available to all ticket holders and are portrait models, Pop Up Shop models which are strictly event themed models that are available to all ticket holders, The Celebration Model which is a portrait model available to all three day ticket holders, the Single Day Stablemate Models which are available to Single Day Ticket holders and are normally available as a random draw. There are a few more, but these are the main type of models available during BreyerFest weekend.

Exclusive Models For BreyerFest 2020

BreyerFest offers a variety of models that are available during BreyerFest weekend and this year is no different.  Though we may be in a virtual format, the models that are being offered are amazing this year! Some are rare and some are available to everyone, but this helpful guide will help you figure out which ones are which!

First is Ballynoe Castle RM or Reggie as he is known about his barn.  This lovely Celebration Model is available for all three day ticket holders, including those that have the new Celebration Ticket.

Next we have Dyflin. Dyflin was the Early Bird Three Day Ticket Raffle Model.  Three lucky ticket holders won him back in mid May. He was limited to three only and is not available to the public.

Next are these lovely stablemates.  Four in all, Orkney, Jersey, Skye, and Arran are available to all Single Day Ticket holders.  You are able to purchase Single Day Tickets, even if you have a Three Day Ticket.  Breyer also offered a very limited 4 Pack this year, which guaranteed you all four stablemates for a single price as well as three day admission to the online festivities.

Next come the Special Run Models. These above models are available to all Three Day Ticket holders, except for the Celebration Ticket holders. You are required to send in your preferences, however you are not guaranteed the models that you have selected.  There will be another post all about this and how it works for 2020.
Next are the Store Specials.  Store Special Models are available to ALL ticket holders. These models are portrait models of horses that were asked to participate in BreyerFest 2020.
The above models here are all available through the Fling! Pop Up Store. These models are specially made for the event and are themed exactly for it.

These are the famed Raffle Models.  These models will be available during BreyerFest weekend to US residents only.
These are the contest prize models.  The first two are for the Best Customs prizes and the bottom one is for the Diorama contest. Full rules and regulations can be found on the Breyer website.
