BreyerFest For Beginners- Guest Horses

 Guest Horses

BreyerFest just would not be BreyerFest without the Guest Horses. From all over the world, these horses showcase something amazing to their breed, their discipline, or are just something awesome themselves. BreyerFest Guest Horses are something that is not to be missed.

At the In Person Event, there are times during the weekend that you are able to meet these amazing horses up close and personal and even get your models of them signed by their owners or handlers. While the exact location has not been shared for this year, it is normally near the barns where these horses will be stabled during the weekend. You will be able to explore the barns as well during the event (as far as we know) and talk to the owners and handlers when they are available. Just remember to never feed the horses unless you are told that you are able to do so.

But if standing in line to get a picture and an autograph does not appeal to you, then you are able to see these horses perform in daily Equine Demonstrations during the weekend. There will be a program released close to the event that will announce each time that these horses will be going into the ring. There they will show off what they do best as you hear their stories being told. This is normally a great photo opportunity for those that like the action shots.

The Guest Horse models are usually sold in the Breyer Store and do sell out fast. Since this year, there are many previous event horses coming, we are not sure to see the Limited Edition Portrait models make an appearance, but we can be sure that the Regular Run Portrait models will be there to purchase, provided that they are in stock. If you have a Limited Edition Portrait Model of one of the Guest Horses, I would definitely bring it, if you want to get it autographed.

For the Virtual Event, there will be some amazing interviews of these Guest Horses. You will get to see some candid shots of these horses at home in their barns and doing what they do best, whether it is running around or strutting their stuff in the show ring. You will also hear their stories told by their owners and see videos of them doing some pretty amazing things. During the virtual event, you will also get to see their Equine Demonstrations during the live feed each day. Sadly, you will not be able to get your models signed, but many of these models do make it to the secondary market. The Guest Horse models will be sold during BreyerFest in the Breyer Store, however do note that the same goes for the virtual as it does for the in person, the Limited Edition Portrait models of years past might not be there and just the Regular Run Portrait Models will make an appearance.

I hope that this has helped a bit to understand how you will get to see these amazing Guest Horses up close and personal during BreyerFest Weekend.
