Let’s Talk BreyerFest...Contests, That Is!

Here is the information that a lot of you have been waiting for. I know that some of you will not be pleased and for that I am very sorry. However, just please remember that this is a fan group and I am only bringing you and clarifying the information. If you have questions about the logistics of the rules, please email Breyer as they will know much more in depth about the laws than I will. Let’s start with the Diorama Contest. The information straight from the link will be copy and pasted here so that nothing is missed because these are important rules.

The Diorama Contest

This year, the theme for the Diorama Contest is Prost Parade and you are asked to recreate a scene from a German Festival. There are four age groups to enter and there are a lot of rules that go with this one, so hang in there!

*You must be a VIP or an All Access Ticket Holder and you must be attending the event at the Kentucky Horse Park. There is no “proxy” showing for this one so you are the one that must submit your entry via email during the entry period.

*The entry period is 3 PM EDT March 8th 2022 to 5PM EDT June 21 2022. They must be emailed and received during that time period to the email address: dioramas@reeevesinlt.com.

*You can only enter one entry and this has to be done by an individual as teams are not allowed.

*You cannot submit a Diorama that you have already submitted.

*At least one Breyer horse must be used and if using a figure, it must be Breyer produced or created entirely by the entrant. Other props or accessories may be not Breyer related. 1:32 to 1:64 scale requested unless it is just a single horse.

*It must fit solely into a 12 inch cube.

*It must be family friendly and in good taste with no trademarks of any kind.

*You will be submitting photos of your creation to the email address above, you are required to send four photos of your creation. At least one of those photos must include a ruler for scale.

*You will be required to bring your entry with you to the Kentucky Horse Park. You will need to take it to the Hobby Center Tent on Friday, July 15th, for viewing and presentation. If you have not emailed your photos ahead of time, your entry will not be accepted at the booth during this time.

*When submitting your photos, you must enter four digital photos using JPEG or PNF pf no more than 2 MB per photo. No other type of photo will be accepted. This is the format that you must use to name your photos: : [YOUR LASTNAME]_BF22Diorama_[NUMBER].[.JPG/.PNG. (E.g.:Smith_BF21Diorama_1.jpg)

*Contest is open to all legal residents of the U.S. (excluding AZ, CO, MD, NE, ND and VT) where allowed with a BreyerFest 2022 VIP Access or BreyerFest 2022 All-Access ticket and an email account. Parent must submit entry if entrant is under age 13. If selected as a potential winner, parental consent is required for entrants under age 18 (or under the legal age of majority in the entrant’s state of residence in the U.S.– whichever is greater). Entrants must bring their diorama entry with them to BreyerFest at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky for display and presentation during BreyerFest, if required, as set out in Rules 13-15). Void where prohibited orotherwise restricted by law

How To Enter via the Breyer Information

*To create your BreyerFest 2022 Prost Parade! Diorama Contest (“Contest”) entry, first select a German Festival to use as inspiration for your diorama. Create your Prost Parade! diorama using any materials you would like. Your diorama must include at least one Breyer model horse in any scale, must stand upright, and must fit within a 12” (30.48cm) cube (including all bases, stands, and attachments). Your diorama must be solely created by you, the entrant, without assistance from anyone. Your diorama should not include any trademarks (brand names). Your diorama should be family-friendly and in good taste. Once you are done, take pictures of your diorama and pick the one to four pictures you like the best. At least ONE (1) of your photos MUST include a ruler for scale. If you are younger, please ask an adult for help with sharp objects, glue, etc. Parents are able to help minimally.

• At least one (1) Breyer model (any scale) must be used in your diorama entry. If you choose to use a figure, it must be a Breyer figure or it must be a figure created by the entrant if a Breyer figure does not exist in the scale you are creating (1:32 or 1:64 only). Other non-Breyer props and accessories are acceptable as long as Breyer models (and Breyer figures, if applicable) are used.

• Email (or have your parent or legal guardian email, if under age 13) no more than four(4) digital photographs of your Prost Parade! diorama entry (JPEG or PNG files no more than 2MB each) and the name of the German Festival that inspired your entry to dioramas@reevesintl.com. Parent or legal guardian must submit entry if entrant is under age 13. All photo entries must be in JPEG or PNG digital form. (All other formats, including but not limited to PDF, PSD, and BMP format will be rejected). Images must be attached to the email and not sent embedded/inline or via a digital link. Digital photographs must be named as follows:[YOUR LAST NAME]_BF22Diorama_[NUMBER].[.JPG/.PNG. (E.g.: Smith_BF21Diorama_1.jpg)

Mail entries will not be accepted.

• Your entry must include the subject line “BF2022 Diorama Contest” along with your

digital photographs, the name of the German Festival that inspired your diorama, title of diorama, short description of the scene, name, age (at the time of entry), mailing address, telephone number, and email address as well as parent/legal guardian’s email address and statement of parental consent if under age 18 (or under the legal age of majority in the entrant’s state of residence in the U.S. or jurisdiction of residence in Canada – whichever is greater) at time of entry. Parent or legal guardian must submit entry if entrant is under age 13. Entry and/or statement of parental consent must be submitted in English. Entries missing any of the above requirements will be immediately disqualified.

• All entries must be original and entirely created by the entrant. Only individuals may compete in this Contest. Group entries will be immediately disqualified. Only original dioramas created for this Contest are eligible; you may not submit a diorama you have entered in another Breyer or BreyerFest diorama contest.

• Limit one (1) Contest entry per person. Entrant must be a BreyerFest 2022 VIP Access or BreyerFest 2022 All-Access ticket holder. Submissions will only be accepted digitally. The entry period begins at 3:00pm EST (8:00pm GMT) on March 8, 2022 and ends at 5:00pm EDT (10:00pm BST) on June 21, 2022. All entries must be received via email at

dioramas@reevesintl.com by Sponsor no later than 5:00pm EDT (10:00pm BST) on June 21, 2022

Judging via the Breyer Information

Entries will be judged by a judging panel including qualified members of Sponsor's Marketing Team and at least one similarly qualified independent judge. Each entry will be judged on the following criteria: 40% on creativity and originality, 30% on attention to detail, and 30% on how successfully the entry embodies this year’s Prost Parade! theme as described above.

• Bring your Contest entry with you to BreyerFest 2022 to the Hobby Center Tent at the Kentucky Horse Park on Friday, July 15, 2022 for display and presentation during BreyerFest weekend (July 15-17, 2022). If you have not submitted your entry by email by the deadline as described above, you will be immediately disqualified, and your diorama will not be displayed or presented during BreyerFest.

• Winners will be announced and prizes awarded in person at BreyerFest during BreyerFest weekend, July 15-17, 2022 on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at approximately 4 pm in the Covered Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park. Entries and prizes will be available for pickup after this time.** Winners may be announced online on BreyerHorses.com during BreyerFest weekend, July 15-17, 2022.

• Diorama entries not picked up by 1 pm on Sunday, July 17, 2022 will not be returned and become the property of Sponsor

Prizes via the Breyer Information

Prize: One (1) Prize Model and one (1) rosette will be awarded to each of twenty-eight (28) winners (seven (7) winners in each of four (4) age groups (12 and under; 13-19; 20-40; and 41 and older)).

• Prize Model is one (1) Glossy Nikolas Celebration Model Horse (# 711506; Estimated Retail Value (ERV) $500 USD each). Rosette has an ERV of $3 USD. Total ERV of all 28 Prizes (model horses and rosettes): $14,084 USD

Official Rules via the Breyer Information- This is IMPORTANT to read!

OFFICIAL RULES:

By submitting an entry, you (and your parent or legal guardian on your behalf, as applicable) agree to be bound by the following BreyerFest 2022 Prost Parade! Diorama Contest (“Contest”) rules.

1. This is a skill-based contest and chance plays no part in the determination of winning. Many will enter, but only twenty-eight (28) will win (seven (7) will win in each of four (4) age categories, as set-out in Rule 12).

2. Contest is open to all legal residents of the U.S. (excluding AZ, CO, MD, NE, ND and VT) where allowed with a BreyerFest 2022 VIP Access or BreyerFest 2022 All-Access ticket and an email account. Parent must submit entry if entrant is under age 13. If selected as a potential winner, parental consent is required for entrants under age 18 (or under the legal age of majority in the entrant’s state of residence in the U.S.– whichever is greater). Entrants must bring their diorama entry with them to BreyerFest at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky for display and presentation during BreyerFest, if required, as set out in Rules 13-15). Void where prohibited or otherwise restricted by law.

3. Contest entry period begins at 3:00pm EST (8:00pm GMT) on March 8, 2022 and ends at 5:00pm EDT (10:00pm BST) on June 21, 2022. All entries must be received via email at dioramas@reevesintl.com by Sponsor no later than 5:00pm EDT (10:00pm BST) on June 21, 2022. No other method of entry will be accepted.

4. To create your BreyerFest 2022 Prost Parade! Diorama Contest (“Contest”) entry, first select a German Festival to use as inspiration for your diorama. Parent or legal guardian must submit entry if entrant is under age 13. Entry and/or statement of parental consent must be submitted in English. Entries missing any of the above requirements will be immediately disqualified.

9. Contact and shipping information collected will be used by Sponsor for the purposes of administering this Contest and awarding the prizes only and will not be used for marketing or other purposes.

10. Limit one (1) entry per BreyerFest 2022 VIP Access or BreyerFest 2022 All-Access ticket holder.

11. Entries will be judged by a judging panel including qualified members of Sponsor's Marketing Team and at least one similarly qualified independent judge. Each entry will be judged on the following criteria: 40% on creativity and originality, 30% on attention to detail, and 30% on how successfully the entry embodies this year’s Prost Parade! theme as described above. Seven (7) potential winners from each age group (12 and under, 13-19, 20-40, and 41 and older) will be determined by the judges in their sole discretion. The decisions of the judges will be final and binding in all respects.

12. Seven (7) potential winners in the 12 and under age group; seven (7) potential winners in the 13-19 age group; seven (7) potential winners in the 20-40 age group; and seven (7) potential winners in the 41 and older age group will be selected on or about July 2, 2022.

13. All entrants must bring their diorama entry with them to BreyerFest 2022 to the Hobby Center Tent at the Kentucky Horse Park on Friday, July 15, 2022 for presentation and display during BreyerFest weekend (July 15-17, 2022). If you have not submitted your entry by email by the deadline as described above, you will be immediately disqualified and your diorama will not be displayed or presented during BreyerFest. Winners will be announced and prizes awarded during BreyerFest at the Covered Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park at approximately 4 pm, Saturday, July 16, 2022. Diorama entry and prize will be available for pickup after this time. Diorama entries not picked up by 1 pm, Sunday, July 17, 2022 will not be returned and become the sole property of Sponsor.

14. Potential winner (or their parent/legal guardian if under age 18 or under the legal age of majority in the entrant’s state of residence in the U.S. – whichever is greater) must sign a Prize Winner Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release or such potential winner will forfeit the prize and an alternate potential winner will be selected. The first name, first letter of last name, and state and country of the winners from each age group may be posted with their winning entries on the Sponsor website (www.BreyerHorses.com) and Breyer social media during BreyerFest weekend, July 15-17, 2022. Winners agree not to publicly disclose they are winners until Sponsor announcement of winners.

15. If, for any reason, Sponsor is forced to cancel, postpone, or transition BreyerFest 2022 to an entirely virtual (no onsite BreyerFest guest activities) event, images of potential winner entries will be displayed and winner announcement will take place online on BreyerHorses.com during BreyerFest weekend (July 15-17, 2022). In such case, Prize Winner Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release will be emailed to potential winners (or their parent/legal guardian if under 18 or under the legal age of majority in the entrant’s state of residence in the U.S. –

whichever is greater) by email on or about July 5, 2021. Selected potential winner must confirm receipt of email and verify valid contact and shipping information to Sponsor, and sign and return the executed Winner Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release by email (email address will be provided to potential winner in notification email) within three (3) business days or such potential winner will forfeit the prize and an alternate potential winner will be selected. Winners agree not to publicly disclose they are winners until Sponsor announcement of winners.

16. Prize will be awarded in the name of the parent if the winner is under age 18 (or under the legal age of majority in the entrant’s state of residence in the U.S. or jurisdiction – whichever is greater).

17. Prize: One (1) Prize Model and one (1) rosette will be awarded to each of seven (7) winners in each of the four (4) age groups (12 and under; 13-19; 20-40; and 41 and older), for a total of 28 winners. Prize Model is a Breyer “Glossy Nikolas” Model Horse (#711506; Estimated Retail Value (ERV) $500 USD each). Rosette ERV $3 USD. Winner is responsible for all taxes on their Prize. Total ERV of all 28 Prizes (model horses and rosettes): $14,084 USD.

18. Noncompliance or return of prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternative potential winner.

19. Sponsor may substitute prizes of equal or greater value.

20. In the event of insufficient eligible entries in a particular age group (i.e., less than 7), remaining prizes will be awarded to the age group with the most eligible entries.

21. Prize must be picked up on site at the Kentucky Horse Park at approximately 4 pm on Saturday, July 16, 2022 in the Covered Arena of the Kentucky Horse Park. If, for any reason, Sponsor is forced to cancel, postpone, or transition BreyerFest 2022 to an entirely virtual (no onsite BreyerFest guest activities event), prize will ship on or around August 1, 2022 at no charge to winner. Estimated ship time approximately 1-2 weeks depending on destination.

22. Sponsor and Sponsor’s employees, retailers, and their immediate family members (i.e., spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent, and/or stepchild, wherever they may live), and anyone else professionally connected with the Contest, are not eligible to enter.

23. All digital photos submitted become the sole property of Sponsor (to the maximum extent permitted by law) and may be used or reproduced in any manner and for any purpose by Sponsor without additional consent or compensation, including without limitation for commercial purposes, and will not be acknowledged or returned. By entering, you (and your parent or legal guardian on your behalf, as applicable): (i) grant to the Sponsor, in perpetuity, a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to publish, display, reproduce, modify, edit or otherwise use your entry/works submitted, in whole or in part, for advertising or promoting the Contest or for any other reason; and (ii) waives all moral rights in and to your entry in favor of the Sponsor (and anyone authorized by the Sponsor to use the entry).

24. By participating, Contest entrants (and their parent or legal guardian on their behalf, as applicable): (1) represent that they have complied with these Official Rules; (2) grant Sponsor the right to use entrant’s name (first name and first letter of last name), city, state and country ; (3) to the maximum extent permitted by law, release Sponsor from any and all liability in connection with this Contest, and (4) agree to execute an affidavit of eligibility/prize acceptance form and publicity release if requested to do so, all without further compensation. Entry into the Contest constitutes complete permission for Sponsor to use, edit, or modify all submissions for all purposes including without limitation advertising and trade in any manner or medium whatsoever. To the maximum extent permitted by law, entrants over the age of 18 and the parents or legal guardians of entrants under age 18 (or under the legal age of majority in the

entrant’s state of residence in the U.S.– whichever is greater) agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor, its officers, directors, agents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, wherever situated, against claims, losses, penalties, causes of action, damages, liability, costs, expenses (including but not limited to reasonable attorneys' fees) or claims caused by or resulting indirectly from entrants participation in the Contest, without limitation or exception, including entrant's violation of any third-party's rights, including without limitation, infringement of any copyright, trademark, service mark, trade secret, right of privacy or publicity or any other third party right).

25. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late or misdirected entries, or incomplete/incorrect submissions and/or entries, or any internet, hardware, or software computer malfunction.

26. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify anyone who attempts to tamper or otherwise interfere with the proper functioning of the promotion and/or its website.

27. Sponsor reserves the right to modify or cancel the Contest in the event of a malfunction or force majeure event beyond Sponsor’s control.

28. All entries must be original and entirely created by the entrant, must not violate the trademark, copyright, or privacy/publicity rights of any third party, and must not violate any applicable local, federal, state/provincial/territorial, and/or international laws and regulations. Void in Arizona, Colorado, Maryland, Nebraska, North Dakota, Vermont, and where prohibited or restricted by law.

30.
